Spring is just around the corner which means strawberries will soon be in bloom. That means it’s almost time for the Lowcountry Strawberry Festival in Mt. Pleasant near Charleston! The festival brings the community together and attracts visitors from around the state for a time of fun-filled, strawberry-themed event. There will be three different areas for attractions so be sure to stop by them all!
The Family Attractions area will feature plenty of fun-filled shows suitable for children and adults alike. The K-9’s In Flight will return to the festival for another year, acrobatic stunts in tow. Giant inflatables, the Velcro Wall, All American Petting Zoo, and more will fill out the area, ensuring kids have a great time!
Amusements of America will present the second area of Festival Rides for another year as well. The area will feature all kinds of rides suitable for kids of all ages. From thrilling to kiddie, there’s a ride for everyone. Best of all, the rides will run throughout the event, day and night.
Finally, the U-Pick fields will make up the third area. Tractor rides will be available for attendees who want to pick their own strawberries. Prices are by the pound.
Taking place April 20th through the 23rd, the Lowcountry Strawberry Festival is one spring event you won’t want to miss!

The Culinary Village, the center of it all, will host three days of cooking demonstrations, special guests, and tasting. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from the best, including culinary celebrities like Sean Brock and Andrea Immer Robinson.
There’s no other wine and food festival like the one found in Charleston in the entirety of the United States. This is one event you don’t want to miss!
